Joining PositiveSingles in India

Who is PositiveSingles for?

Adults aged 18+ living with herpes and other STIs, and adults open to dating them. You can be interested in friendship or a relationship; say which you want. Read who the community may suit before deciding.

Does this website create a separate Indian account?

No. Registration buttons lead to positivesingles.com, where your profile, messages and purchases are managed. This site provides India-focused guidance; it does not collect account credentials. Existing members should use the official login route rather than register again.

Can I find someone in my Indian city?

Check the location options and profiles available in your account. There is no independently verified local member count on this website. Decide whether you want to meet within your city or can manage a longer journey; do not buy a subscription on the assumption that a particular number of people live nearby.

How do I discuss language, marriage or family expectations?

Mention your preferred conversation languages and relationship intentions without making assumptions about the other person. For example: “I would like a lasting relationship, but I prefer to know someone before involving family.” Agree separately on what health information may be shared. See our family privacy guidance.

Free access, subscriptions and login

Is PositiveSingles free to use?

A free account includes registration, viewing and browsing profiles, and replying to messages. Premium adds the ability to start private messages, advanced discovery and more visibility and contact controls. See the free and Premium feature comparison. Matchmaker is a separate service; check the current terms before buying.

Where do I log in or reset my password?

Follow the PositiveSingles login link and use recovery on the official service. Check the account email and spam folder if a recovery message is missing. Contact support if you no longer control that email; never send a password or one-time code to a member.

How do I cancel, and is cancellation a refund?

Start with the receipt to identify the billing provider. Use that provider’s subscription controls and save confirmation. Stopping a future renewal does not itself request a refund. Our billing help links to Apple and Google instructions and explains the website purchase route.

I paid but cannot see my membership. Should I pay again?

Not before checking the first purchase. Confirm that you are signed in to the intended dating account, find the receipt and send its order reference, date and currency through official member support. Do not send full card details or another payment to a person offering to activate your account.

Dating profile privacy and safety

Does PositiveSingles ask for medical records?

Its official FAQ says medical records are not required or verified. Photo verification is not medical verification. Do not send a test report to another member as proof of trust, or assume a badge confirms someone’s STI status.

Can I prevent people I know from recognising me?

No setting can guarantee that. Review visibility controls before uploading; also check photo backgrounds, reused usernames and notification previews on shared devices. Our profile privacy guide gives concrete examples of what to keep out of a bio.

When should I talk about herpes with a potential partner?

Prepare the conversation before sexual contact, with time for questions and a decision without pressure. A detailed public biography and a private health discussion serve different purposes. Use the herpes disclosure guide for wording and linked health sources, and ask a clinician about your own circumstances.

Where do I report a suspicious member or a money request?

Report the profile on the official service and preserve relevant messages if safe. Use the scam warning signs to assess a request. If money has already been transferred, contact your bank and follow India’s urgent reporting routes; an account report does not replace a financial-fraud report.
